Our Story

AH Design Studio was established by Aki Hliaras, an architectural designer with extensive experience in design and construction. Aki's vision for AH Design Studio is founded on the commitment to providing a seamless and stress-free renovation process, where design not only enhances your space but also optimizes cost-efficiency. His journey in this industry began in 2013 as a construction worker, and over time, he earned a bachelor's degree in interior design with honors. He has been actively practicing interior design since 2018 and eventually founded AH Design Studio in 2020. What initially started as a side endeavor has evolved into a thriving team of three, supplemented by virtual assistants, and a portfolio boasting over 200 successfully completed projects.
In March 2022, we proudly inaugurated our own showroom in Pierrefonds, offering our clients an even more personalized experience for selecting and sourcing finishing materials for their renovations. Looking ahead, we have ambitious plans for further expansion in the years to come. We are eagerly anticipating the exciting journey ahead, and we invite you to join us on this adventure!

I'm an architectural designer with an Honor's Bachelor Degree in Interior Design from Algonquin College.
As the founder of AHDS, my mission is to offer homeowners a comprehensive solution for the transformation of their spaces. I'm Aki's spouse, and my role is primarily behind the scenes. I handle the planning, strategy, and management of all our social media platforms. My responsibilities include content creation, post scheduling, and coordinating before-and-after photoshoots when our clients' renovations are completed. It's during these photoshoots that I typically have the opportunity to meet our clients.
Additionally, I take charge of ensuring that we promptly address all inquiries from potential customers and follow up with those interested in our services.

Leveraging my AEC in Interior Design, from Lasalle College, I possess in-depth expertise and proficiency in architectural drafting software like AutoCAD and SketchUp.
